2013 Fmds fashion show
The above pieces earned the title of "Best Overall Designer" two years in a row at Virginia Tech's annual Fashion, Merchandising, and Design Society Fashion Show. My focus on the 2013 collection was to create a wearable, stylish collegiate clothing line with emphasis on using logos in unique ways. Three pieces from this line were adapted in to UG Apparel's 2014 collegiate collection.
2014 FMDS Fashion Show
The final two pieces above are from the 2014 FMDS Fashion show. The business dress features a partial mandarin collar which adds power to a feminine piece. The one-shoulder gown features stretch silk charmeuse using countless tuck darts to create the rippling effect in the maroon and orange fabric.
